Introducing your pet

Hi guys! I have currently added a new category for the forum! Although it required me to lock the forum for about 10 minutes, I thought "hey maybe there are also pet lovers in our class and this maybe one of their love for their hobbies". So here you go I have made this category for all the pet lovers in the forum.

This part of the My Pet Corner is for introducing your pets to us. You can post or even brag about your pet although I restrict flaming and spamming.

I have a pet.... her name is Ryam.... she is a scyther!

She is so cool(and cute).. I love her so much

Hmm... Do we need to use animal pets? Perhaps we could have magical creatures as pets!^_^

No....and don't post here. Normal pets are allowed

Hmm... Cats would be my pick. Not the persian ones, just the normal, domesticated ones. They are so cute(can't find a better word), and tame.

Sorry... I didn't know pokémon is not allowed. BTW, I don't have REAL pets, except the one that died when I was still a toddler.

I have 7 pets; 4 quails and 3 female dogs..
quails have no names and the dogs have..

All of you are lucky having one or two pets..


For me, i hav to take care atleast....1...2...4....

2 H. Spinifier tapos may mga 5 pcs ata na....nakalimutan ko yung isa e. nakalimutan ko kung anong species yun.

tapos....Meron ako Crickets...duhhh pagkain ng SCORPIONS

TAPOS....Meron kami mga aso kaya lang nasa CEBU...kaya wala ako aso ngayon

Mga Manok....napaanak ko p! may mga itlog...kaya lng pinatay niya rin mga itlog o may kumuha basta nawala bigla!

May isda rin...oo nga pala may isda nga pala kami ngayon....^_^

Tapos may gagamba p ako ngayoin...bago ko lng nahuli! Isa maliit Isa mukhang Philippine Tarantula kaya lng di ko p nacoconfirm.

Philippine Tarantulas yung malalaki nagagamba sa bahay nyo na kumakain ng mga ipis. At mabilis tumakbo!

Hmmm...At oo yung Hamsters...4 namatay....kasi napabayaan ko...T_T

Sama ko talaga! Napapabayaan ko mga pets ko dahil sa Skool! Mali kasi oras na pagkuha ko...Pero plano ko p bumili kung hindi ahas(Corn Snake or Ball Python) Bearded Dragon o kaya Iguana basta isa sa tatlo!

Oo, pwede na ako matawag na pet Hobbyist....Ngayon plano ko magiging Collector(Figurines, Comics, Busts, Statues, CARDS) muna ako tapos babalik na lng ako sa hobby ko pagdating sa college dahil mas marami oras ko pagcollege na ako tapos baka mas malaki na space ko pagdating ng araw na yun!

Lagay naman kayo ng letrato ng alaga nyo =]

Tulad ng sinabi ko....wala na nga ako pets sa ngayon....babalik ako sa hobby ko pagcollege na ako....Plus, di ko mahilig sa picture-taking.

Pero kung gusto nyo tanong ko pinsan ko kung meron sya mga pictures ng mga pets na hinahanap namin. Tapos na kasi siya sa pagaaral kaya madami siya free time. Ano gusto nyo yung tarantula nya o yung crow o kaya naman yung sugar glider...kung ayaw nyo yung Bearded Dragon nya...o kaya naman yung iguana...

Eheheheh....kami ng pinsan ko kasi Hobbyist/ Breeder. Pero mostly considered siya hobbyist...kasi sa tingin ko wala sa plan niya magbreed di gaya ko.....sabi niya kasi sakin dati tignan niya muna kung kaya niya. Pero ako since nakaranas na ako na successful breeding....yun na naging goal ko ever since. Soon to be breeder ako....mostly hobbyist palang level ko pagdating sa pets...Crickets at Chicken palang ata successful ako....

Plan ko sunod ay:
1.) Snakes....protection sa mites lng maging problem ko
2.) Tarantulas....Bites/ Venom/ at housing nila
3.) Iguanas....Wala p ako masyado na research dito pero mostly likely gagawin ko sila as Top 5
4.) Bearded Dragons....Refer na lng ako sa pinsan ko kung successful siya sa breeding
5.) Gerbils....Parang rat lng sila o kaya hamster pero mas madali alagaan.

Yan ang top 5 ko as of now....pero magpapalit rin yan pag may nakita akong mas maganda.

English Section:
They say hamsters are cute....but I think not. Problems I've encountered with breeding a hamster.
1.) If you don't know what type of hamster you are currently taking care of your DEAD. Syrian Hamsters could never be housed together unlike Dwarf hamsters. Syrian Hamsters are also called as teddy bear hamster if I remember it right. Unlike Siberian Hamsters(Dwarf) Syrian hamsters are more brutal and mustn't be placed together in one cage. The male hamster would most likely die especially if they weren't housed together since birth.
2.) These aggressive little critters will bite you most of the time. I would also advice you not to always hold them because it might cause bites which in turn you would drop them. I would suggest to buy a bigger housing for them then the ones suggested. And BTW, on the first sight of fights or bruises quickly separate them from one another. You don't wanna end up with a dead hamster.
3.) Consider if you got enough time. I mean a hell lot of time! They require so much attention that you would end up not making your assignment for their sake.


As of now, I don't wanna force my brain in making more advices in handling a hamster....So I'll stop for now. But I warn you ! Those little devils needs a hell lot of time......Woohoo! I'm not speaking in the vernacular language! WoooT!
